COMPETITION
ELIGIBILITY
An applicant may enter more than one division provided each application is made in accordance with the age requirements and other regulations:
-All music must be performed on a nylon-classical 6 string guitar
-All music must be performed by memory
-If a performer exceeds the competition time limit they will be interrupted by the jury without a penalty
- Collegiate and Open Divisions: repertoire from the 1st round may be repeated in the 2nd round
- First prize winners from previous editions of the Competition can not compete in the same division

APPLICATION
Teachers shall be responsible for reviewing all information pertaining to the competition including rules and regulations with their students.
REPERTOIRE REQUIREMENTS:
Junior Division (one round only)
Free program, not to exceed 6 min.
Senior Division (one round only)
Free program, not to exceed 8 min.
Collegiate Division (2 rounds)
1st Round
Free program, two or more contrasting pieces not to exceed 10 min.
2nd Round
Free program, two or more contrasting pieces not to exceed 12 minutes.
Open Division (2 rounds)
1st Round
Free program, two or more contrasting pieces not to exceed 12 minutes.
2nd Round
Free program, two or more contrasting pieces not to exceed 15 minutes.
