CHICAGO COLLEGE OF PERFORMING ARTS AT ROOSEVELT UNIVERSITY
is hosting the
2019 CHICAGO GUITAR FESTIVAL AND COMPETITION,
June 1-2, 2019.

This weekend event is open to guitarists and musicians of all ages, levels and backgrounds. Internationally celebrated artists will visit Chicago to judge the competition, lead ensembles, give master classes, clinics, lectures and concerts that are sure to impress.

Competition
The competition is open to all US residents, competing in 3 age categories:
Junior-under 13, Senior- under 17, Collegiate-under 21
for a total of $3000,- in cash prizes
and a special prize, guitar made by Richard Larsen, valued at $ 4000,-
